Summer Seasons
Summer rehearsal programs are 6-week, 90-minute rehearsal programs that bring new and returning Encore singers together over the summer, all based around the concept of community.
Music Selection
Encore summer rehearsals bring singers together with a fun mix of SATB repertoire. Whether you’re singing with ROCKS, Chorale, Arts for Life, or Broadway, you’ll harmonize with fellow singers through fun and exciting pieces.
Session Flow
Community building is key! Instead of end-of-semester concerts, the final session of our summer season will be an open rehearsal where you can share what you’ve been working on with the community. Invite everyone you know to sing along!
Six weeks of summer fun!
Encore Creativity’s rehearsal seasons traditionally run in spring and fall, but that doesn’t mean the music stops in the summer! We’ve introduced our popular Summer Singing Sessions to keep you creatively active over the summer. If you’re looking for a way to connect with fellow Encore singers year-round, these regional community ensembles bring Encore singers from across the area together for six weeks of music-making and community-building. Whether you’ve sung with Encore Creativity ensembles for years, or whether you’ve never sung with us before, you’ll find a home with our summer programs that cherish the camaraderie that singing brings.

Must I be a current Encore singer to join summer rehearsals?
Definitely not! We welcome all current and future Encore singers to our summer rehearsal seasons. Our summer seasons are the perfect time to try singing with an Encore ensemble for the first time.
Will I have a performance at the end of the summer season?
Unlike our spring and fall rehearsal seasons, there is no performance outcome for our summer sessions. The final rehearsal will be an open "informance" rehearsal to share what you have been rehearsing with the community. Friends, family members, and community members are warmly welcomed to attend this open rehearsal and try out singing with an Encore ensemble.
What is the cost of tuition for the summer sessions?
Our summer rehearsal seasons are $75 per program.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes! Just as with our spring and fall rehearsal seasons, scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance. Please click the Scholarship Program link on the registration page for more information and to apply.

We are eagerly looking to expand our Encore Creativity summer singing sessions each year. If you are interested in joining a summer session, let us know! In the meantime, we invite you to join the Online options that are available no matter where you are.
