Last month, Encore Creativity was joined by the wonderful B.E. Boykin, composer of “Music of Life” – one of Encore Creativity’s pieces from the spring 2024 repertoire. Boykin, an Alexandria native and a wonderfully talented composer of beautiful choral works, such as As We Sing, Consolamini, and more, joined Encore University for an illuminating conversation on her composition process, her inspirations, and her experience as a composer working in the music industry.
