Encore Chorales
Encore Chorales are non-auditioned choral groups for adults over the age of 55.
Song Selection
Encore Chorale’s repertoire may include selections from the American Songbook, Broadway show music, classical and opera, and secular or religious holiday music.
Rehearsals
Singers are seated for rehearsals; they may also be seated for concerts if preferred.
Rehearsals are typically 90 minutes & led by a professional choral conductor.
Concerts
All concerts are free and open to the public, and are held at prestigious high-visibility locations such as the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, DAR Constitution Hall, and Strathmore Hall.

Join Encore Chorale Online
All members registered for in-person singing are welcome to participate in our online-only rehearsal as well. You'll be led by a conductor on Zoom and learn the same music taught over 15 weeks in our in-person rehearsals.
Register
Tuition covers all sheet music and a rehearsal CD highlighting the singer’s voice part and contributes to Encore’s administrative costs.
