Leadership and Conductors

Ethan2(Annapolis ROCKS, DC ROCKS, Glen Echo ROCKS, Online-Only Afternoon ROCKS, Online-Only Evening ROCKS) Ethan Lolley is an Alabama native and holds his Master’s of Music Education degree with a conducting emphasis in instrumental and choral conducting from Auburn University. His love for the performing arts began with piano instruction in second grade. He has led music ensembles as a collegiate and drum corps drum major, graduate choral conductor, youth and symphony orchestra conductor, and music director for children’s theatre, adult main stage theatrical productions, and professional operas. In 2015, he founded Drum Major Innovations, an educational institution that offers conducting clinics, camps, and competitions for aspiring drum majors. He currently serves as an instructor for the Macy’s Great American Marching Band, a select ensemble which performs in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Ethan has performed with Disney Cruise Line, The Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. He is currently the music director of the CFCArts Young Artists Orchestra in Orlando, FL and as well as resident conductor and music director for all Florida premieres of composer Nathan Felix at Timucua Arts Foundation. Ethan also serves as a conducting protégé to nationally renowned Music Director Eric Jacobsen of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
