Langston Brown

Join One of Encore's "Original" Chorales!

Begun in 2001 as one of the Creativity and Aging study chorales, singing at Langston Brown actually pre-dates the creation of Encore.

The class, designed for adults 55 years and above is instructive as well as enjoyable. Learn proper breathing techniques and how to improve your voice through tone production as Encore Founder Jeanne Kelly guides participants through weekly rehearsals in four-part singing. Jeanne is asssited by Chorale Master Mary Cottrell. The season will conclude with performances with other Encore Chorales at locations in the MD/DC/Northern Virginia area. Be a part of a true harmonic convergence-if you can talk, you can sing!

“As you get older; you've probably noticed that you tend to forget things. You'll be talking with somebody at a party, and you'll know that you know this person, but no matter how hard you try, you can't remember his or her name. This can be very embarassing, especially if he or she turns out to be your spouse.” ― Dave Barry
